Heartstart Malvern

Saving lives together

Fundraising

Heartstart Malvern is a scheme run by volunteers. We need help to raise funds to enable us to continue to provide free training sessions and to buy defibrillators to be placed around Malvern for members of the public to use. Every single penny that we raise will be used to help save lives. The following figures provide an indication as to how we could spend money from our fundraising activities:

  • £5 would train one person in basic resuscitation skills and defibrillator awareness
  • £10 would buy a box of 50 manikin cleaning wipes
  • £25 would fund a Heartstart Malvern training session for a group of up to six people
  • £50 would buy a set of pads for our training defibrillators
  • £100 would fund a Heartstart training session for a group of about 25 people
  • £150 would buy a resuscitation training manikin
  • £250 would buy a training defibrillator
  • £500 would buy a secure heated cabinet to keep a public access defibrillator in
  • £750 would buy a defibrillator cabinet and would cover the cost of installing it
  • £1,000 would buy a public access defibrillator
  • £1750 would buy a defibrillator and enable it to be installed.

Heartstart Malvern Fundraising Group

We are in the process of forming a fundraising group to support Heartstart Malvern. The group will support Heartstart Malvern by organising a number of different fundraising activities throughout the year. Most of the money raised by the group will be used to buy and install public access defibrillators. Anyone is welcome to join this group. We are only asking for a time commitment of about 1-2 hours a month. Please contact us if you would like more information about joining our fundraising group.

Organise your own fundraising event

We are also keen to hear from individuals or groups who would like to organise a fundraising event for us.

Please contact us if you would like to organise an event for us as we may be able to provide you with some publicity and general promotional material.
